Mission Statement

The mission of the Central Junior High School Library Media Center is to ensure that all students have the skills and opportunity to access, evaluate, and use information. The library program strives to prepare our students to be informed, productive, and concerned citizens in an information driven society.

Vision Statement

The Central Junior High School Library Media Program seeks to create a 21st century learning environment that promotes learning for all students by providing equitable access to information, teaching information literacy skills, and encouraging lifelong learning. The library media center strives to be a center of collaborative learning that produces creative students who have an appreciation of print, visual, and media literacy, as well as enhance critical thinking skills.


Mrs. Teff

Library Media Specialist

Mrs. Teff graduated from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006 and from the University of Central Arkansas with a Masters of Science in Library Media and Information Technologies in 2010. She taught 7th and 8th grade science for 7 years before taking over as Central’s LMS in the fall of 2013. She and her husband have two boys and love spending time outdoors.

Mrs. Francis

Library Media Assistant

Mrs. Francis just completed her 17th year in the Springdale Public School System. She has worked as a library media assistant for the past 8 years. She has two sons and five grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
